North Snohomish Little League is a non-profit organization that relies on volunteers to run all league operations

Families have numerous volunteer opportunities throughout the season:

  • Team Level: Manager, assistant coach, team parent, umpire, game or practice field prep
  • League Level: Board Member, Family Fun Day Committee, maintenance of the complex
  • Special Event Level: Field Work Day, Family Fun Day, concession shift

*All adults who will have regular contact with players, whether as a manager, coach, team parent, umpire, or in another capacity, must complete a Volunteer Application and pass a background check.

    Background Screening

Little League Regulations (Regulation I(b) and I(c)8-9) state:

As a condition of service to the league, all managers, coaches, Board of Directors members and any other persons, volunteers or hired workers, who provide regular service to the league and/or have repetitive access to, or contact with players or teams, must complete and submit a "Little League Official Volunteer Application" to the league president. Annual background screenings must be completed prior to the applicant assuming his/her duties for the current season.

Any individual who refuses or fails to annually submit a fully completed Volunteer Application will not be eligible to participate in any activity with the North Snohomish Little League.

The intent of the background screening is to prevent any individual from participating in North Snohomish Little League in any manner who is guilty of any crime involving or against a minor or minors or another crime showing the individual is unfit to work with minors.
